Prayer Requests

Dear Praying Friends,

Our praise reports this week are from Morelia; they have 62 children registered for the school year (19 are ours), the rest from the community.  After many difficulties with changes in the principal, children in the community decided to enroll again in the Morelia school.  Another praise report is Pastor Gerry Fosen, old friend of FFHM, who has prostate cancer, is well enough to begin radiation treatments.  Pray for his complete recovery.

Our prayer requests are:

1.  The mission in Oaxaca is strategically planning to grow their outreach to the community.  Please pray that God will give them a clear vision of what He wants.

2. Eunice, the director of the home in Oaxaca, had to leave because her mother is very sick.  Please pray for the healing of her mother and comfort for Eunice.

3.  There is an influx of people asking to leave their children at the orphanage in Oaxaca.  Pray for wisdom and discernment to decide the ones to accept and the finances to care for them.

4.  All the children are returning to school in Mexico.  Pray they will be prepared for the coming year.  Some of these, who are going to one of the Mission schools, will be hearing the truth for the first time.

5.  Ricardo Bolanos, our bookkeeper in Baja, is still out sick with Bell's Palsy.  Pray the Lord would touch him.

6.  The Bible Institute students are returning to school this coming week.  Some are starting their first year and some their second.

7.  Pat Durkin, long time friend of the ministry got a second opinion concerning the tear in her retina.  She will be having surgery in September and is facing a long and difficult recovery.  Please pray for a healing.

8. Jorge Gamboa, Baja Orphanage Supervisor, has been ill for a few months.  Pray for wisdom for his doctors and that God's pathway for his healing will be made known to him.

9.  Wisdom for the teens' house parents in Morelia.

Love, Charla
